The ATEX Directive / IECEx Scheme and related standards like EN (IEC) 60079 and ISO 80079 define the mandatory lifetime tracking, for the total lifetime of one installation being installed in a possible hazardous area is Ex proof. Ex proof means each installation has to be identified. ExRFID SA1 tag makes it happen in a cost effective way for longterm operation, the tag is developed and manufactured by Veproil. The ExRFID SA1 has to be installed on each device operated in possible hazardous areas, you need to read it out and then in a database(sheets on maintainance, repair and inspections it has to managed. Possible hardware: tablet, smartphone, RFID reader, or any xls database or dedicated software (EPDS).
